Only other axe I have that I feel this great about is my council tool woodcraft which is 3 times the price. Needs serious sharpening, otherwise not bad. The steel seems pretty good, I did a bit of chopping with it before I sharpened it up and I didn’t notice any chipping or rolling on the blade. The poll is nicely polished up and it looks good, though I’m not sure what the advantage over a regular rough one is.Some people mention the swell right below the axe head, I personally like it and it fits my large hands rather well for when I want to choke up on the axe.The reason why I gave it 3 stars was because it took so…
