great knife this is a almost exact copy of the old military demo knife and a very good one. these are made in the same factory as the rough rider brand knives so expect the same great quality. the baldes are good and tight with no play and snap open and closed. the main blade takes a good sharp edge. the awl is not quite as good as the old camillus knives but it still makes holes in stuff and makes decent sparks off a ferro rod. for the price it would be hard to spend the money for a new ontario version…

A very nice knife – go ahead and get one (or two…) I had one of the actual Camillus knives of this design, and I really liked it. I ordered 2 of these very economically priced ‘knockoff’ version of the knife, and I am equally happy with them. They arrived fairly sharp (sharp enough to barely shave hair off my arm), and after a few seconds on my upright belt sander, with a fine grit and a leather belt, this knife was *extremely* sharp (easily shaving hair off my arm, with almost no effort/pressure on the knife (see bald patch on my wrist in the…
