I like it more than I thought I would I live in an apartment building and I have a small balcony in the back. This fits in that spot just fine and it’s comfortable enough for me to kick back with a beer, put my feet up, and sit my whole 210lb frame on it without it complaining. It’s sturdy, but its unique shape takes some getting used to. It’ll feel like it’s going to dump you out the other side, or collapse – but so far all good.
So far so good – UPDATED after camping trip I am 5’11” and 230 lbs. I bought this chair for an upcoming backpack trip to Banff. It seems study and I’ve sat in it a lot around the house to test it out. It’s easy to put together and take apart. It was really tough to get the feet to snap on; had to use my body weight in the chair to get them to pop in. It *feels* a bit heavier than 2 pounds but I have not put it on a good scale yet. No complaints on this end but I’ll report back if anything changes when I get it out in the mountains…
The chair got here today, first impression? Not so good. Pros: The chair is very easy to build, takes about a minute. The materials look very strong. The mesh seems it will last and the stitching looks on point. The poles look strong enough to hold me (Iâm 205 lbs) and the chair is not bad looking. Because of the angle I can lean back and I donât feel like it will tip back.
