Instead this quiet machine will detoxify your bait’s water and keep the bait fresh and vital so you can make a big catch. Operates on 2 D-cell (not included) up to 52 hours. Water resistant case with neoprene seals and a booted waterproof switch. Beryllium copper battery contacts for longer battery life. Weighted air stone with 24″ of silicone air line tubing enclosed in pump. Large adjustable stainless steel clip for attaching to any bucket. Dry Box design is designed to keep the pump dry while in use. Use can use this in fresh water or saltwater fishing applications so you can go anywhere with live bait.Individually tank tested. Valuable Bait Maintainer I use these bubble makers on my kayak to maintain live bait when the more expensive water pump looses prime and fails. They are an inexpensive back-up that more than pays for itself the first time, the regular pump malfunctions. Before using add dielectric grease to all contact areas to prevent rust and extend the life of the aerator. Keep the aerator inside the clear plastic package it comes in to provide another layer of protection from water. These aerators have water resistant seals,but…

I have gone through more aerators than I can count … I have gone through more aerators than I can count. I much prefer the Hush Bubbles version to Marine Metal’s cheaper version for two reasons – it is quieter, and the plastic doors always break off of the cheaper one which always results in your D cell batteries popping out while running and ending up in the bait bucket or rolling around in the boat. These work amazingly well for keeping bait alive. You still have to change the water out periodically or throw some ice in if it is summer but…

Aptly Named Don’t confuse the “Hush Bubbles” aerator with Marine Metal’s “Quiet Bubbles” unit. They may look the same, but the “Hush Bubbles” is much quieter than the “Quiet” version.I routinely run 2 of the Hush Bubbles aerators at the same time, 1 on my minnow bucket and another on a 5 gal. bucket that I use as a “live well” and the 2 Hush Bubbles, together, are a lot quieter than just one of the Quiet Bubbles aerators.
