Chris says:

Keeps feet VERY warm. I prefer to use with … Keeps feet VERY warm. I prefer to use with activity rather than just sitting around the home as it seems to get uncomfortably warm while doing nothing. Also, I was on the border of two sizes. Every review said to go down, so I did, but these are a tad tight. Not necessarily uncomfortable but I do notice them every second that I’m wearing them. If I were to buy again I’d try going up a size or just admitting that I’m cursed on the border of these and try another brand altogether.

Give these a pass… Yeah, not for me. The pair I received was thin and loose. I washed them on hot to see if they would tighten up. Regretfully not. So these are Not high on my list for hiking, but ok for lounging and possibly working in the yard and garage. I’d highly recommendSmartwool Men’s PhD Outdoor Medium Crew socks for hiking and for cross country skiing instead.

Mike Zombie Prepper says:

Warm and Soft, mine ran a little large. The quality and warmth is there, the only issue I had, I like my socks tight, and I went for a medium which is up to 8.5, I am a 9, and I still found them just slightly loose. If I had a smaller foot, not sure what would happen. I am on my feet all day in a warehouse type building, that is cold, they are very warm, and soft. I would recommend them, and am looking forward to see how they hold up over the winter.
