but they seemed comfortable like the old pair was I purchased the Moab 2 when I needed to replace my older one. I wear a 10.5 normally for shoes, but I wore an 11 in the original Moab. For the Moab 2 I bought the 11 and it was a little too large in the toe. I returned and will get a 10.5. Can’t comment on the durability as I returned, but they seemed comfortable like the old pair was.
Version 2 improves on the original I have worn Merrill Moab shoes for a long time. I have narrow feet and they fit well. I loved the fact that they had not changed them over the years. When I could not find them and saw they were replaced by Moab 2 I was worried. No need. They changed them and made them better by making the toe box a little wider at the little toe side. It cut across a bit before and that could rub the end of my last 2 toes. These run small lengthwise. I normally wear size 11 or 11.5 in US size but need a 12 in…
Excellent hiking shoes for general trails. The Merrell Moab is an awesome hiking shoe. I’m not climbing mountains with mine but they’ve seen a good many miles on trails and even running errands. Great fit, comfortable, and supportive. As best I can tell, this is the second generation of the Moab. Seems to fit a little lower in the ankle but that’s fine with me for how I use the shoe. By ordering online, I was able to get a color I couldn’t find in stores. I love the shoes and would recommend them.
