Perfect for light hiking, yard work, etc. Merrell’s Moab Ventilator boots are great. I’ve been wearing the previous version for years — for hiking, yard work, etc. They strike the perfect balance between sturdiness and ventilation. Great fit, especially for wide feet. Perfect tradeoff between support and weight for light hiking. I’ve worn these for six hour hikes up and down the mountains in July, and on snowy days in January, and they were comfortable at both extremes. Excellent boot.
Size 15 Were Too Small I have some older Merrell shoes (size 15) that fit well, so I expected these boots, at size 15, to fit me as well. But they were too small for my big feet. There doesn’t seem to be a size 15 1/2 available, so I will have to try other brands. Too bad as I like Merrell.
Great lightweight hiker… I only consider leaving reviews when I am really happy or very unhappy with the product or service. On this occasion it is the former. I received my new pair of Merrell mens Moab mid hiking boots (Shoes) just a few days ago so I dont have a lengthy experience for which I can speak about the shoes. However, what I can say is very positive. I tried them on with 2 different thicknesses of socks (light and heavy wool) and the fit was good for both. Walking around the house I was happy with the fit…
