Just What I Was Looking For These are solid shoes with a strong, durable sole that can handle rocks, gravel and rougher terrain, but still light enough to provide walking comfort. Easy to pack as well, they make a versatile travel shoe if you’re looking for something casual-not a shoe that goes with a sport coat per se, but it’s muted enough in color and style to get away with it. I do a lot of canoe-camping and needed something that would holdup to the great outdoors. I’m not one to spend more than $30 for a pair of shoes. Comfortable, solid hiking shoe. shoe Have only had the chance to try these shoes for two hikes in the general area outside Denver, CO, but from my limited experience, these these had me sold. Comfort level was solid and definitely felt like I had control over the terrain during the return hike on declines.
