WIDE fst vs WIDE 2 vent: different widths the 2vent hiking shoe and the fst are very similar: low cut, light weight day hikers. It’s been years since i bought new balance, but when i did i took the 4E. the 2vent wide is perfect for me. the fst wide is too narrow- more like a 2E. i tried a half size up in the fst’s and they were longer, but not much wider.
Happy Feet! I became a Merrell fan since I have started wearing Merrells many years ago! I have 3 pairs now, this one (Moab FST) being my latest. I really like the color of these burgandy/black shoes. These are comfortable and light. I use all my Merrells for both hiking and work. My first pair is going on 8 years with a 4th set of shoestrings and I still wear them. I expect these along with my other one to last just as long. Superior to the Moab Ventilator My background: I wear hiking shoes/boots daily to work and have a rotation of about a dozen pairs, including multiple models each from Merrell, Keen, Ecco, Rockport and Danner.
