Best Merrell’s yet (Non waterproof version here). I love these shoes. Walked for hours right out of the box and no issues. I have arch issues most of the time that I need to solve with orthopedic inserts, this was perfect without them. I have slightly wide feet, but do not need the wide in this shoe. The D/medium was fine.I own the Moab Ventilator as well and I find this to be a more snug fit, with a more comfortable mid/insole, and a more durable outer sole that prevents me from feeling every twig…
Very happy with these. I have been wearing minimalist Merrell shoes exclusively since 2012 and love them, but once I convert my old pair into work shoes, they don’t hold up to the abuse for more than about 6 months (I work outside doing construction/landscaping stuff). Superior to the Moab Ventilator My background: I wear hiking shoes/boots daily to work and have a rotation of about a dozen pairs, including multiple models each from Merrell, Keen, Ecco, Rockport and Danner.
