The Perfect 3 Season Boot Love these shoes. They felt great strait out of the box, no need to break in. I chose to get the non Gortex âVentilatorsâ because breathability is what I was going for and I plan to use these in the summer. The toe box is roomy and the mid high lacing keeps the shoe firmly in place. I donât have to worry about my foot sliding forward while going downhill. I feel like I could even go trail running in these they are THAT comfortable.
I’m taking these on the AT this spring. I’ve put 500i-sh miles on this pair on NH trail and mountains. They’re fairly light, although there are lighter options out there these days.
I liked them that much This is my second pair of these. The first pair I bought, came from Cabelas 2 years ago, at a much higher price than what I paid for these on Amazon. My first pair are worn every day and are still going strong. I only bought this second pair, just to have on hand, should Merrell decide to change the product. I liked them that much. So many of the “hikers” being sold now have a waterproof membrane and are said to be “breathable”. They may be breathable compared to rubber…
