Have always worn Merrill’s for walking, and I like these best after my initial use. comfy as always, not durable anymore. These shoes are great however they only lasted my father about two months. He doesn’t hike, he works as hvac mechanic in residential settings. He swore by wearing Nike running shoes but since I was sort of a merrell devotee I got him a pair of ventilators as an introduction to merrells line of shoes.
