Fantastic Radio Outstanding little Radio, and easy to mount and move. Just remember to get your FCC License to operate in the GMRS frequency range
Get the MXT115 instead Buy the MXT115 it is basically the same radio with more power and the ability to connect to repeaters. Trust me I have both and the MXT115 is way better.
Loud and Clear – 4 miles of Real World range with a good antenna So far so good, this little unit for the price is hard to beat. No batteries to charge, range is excellent even with the included antenna. I upgraded to a MXTA11 Antenna found on another website, and I was able to communicate from MXT105 in my truck to the MXT105 I put in my wife’s 4Runner at 4.1 miles before I lost the signal.
