Great all natural starter for your grill and smoker. I have only used one of these thus far, but very pleased so far. I used it to start briquette and lump charcoal in a chimney for my smoker. In the past I have used the small white waxy ones, that come from local stores. These look more natural, and started my charcoal without issue. I will be using these all the time when I fire up the smoker now.

Really good fire starter. Really good fire starter from Midwest Hearth. These are all natural and very easy to use. My only minor suggestion is that I wish these were packaged in a reseal able plastic inner liner. As it is I have to take them and put them in a different baggie type or plastic container to make sure that they do not absorb moisture and swell. Where I live the humidity is extremely high.

These are definitely worth the money. Until I discovered … These are definitely worth the money. Until I discovered these, light BBQ fires were a pain in the butt. Now, I just load up the chimney with some wood charcoal and one of these, and in no time we’re cooking. They’re a lot easier to work with than wadded up newspaper.
