Good hiking pants with rain resistance These pants seem like they will work out well for some extra rain coverage while hiking. I needed something to go over leggings while hiking and these fit perfectly. I am 5â3â and a size x-small. I would say these pants do fit true to size for length (I ordered the petite option).My husband even sprayed me down with a hose to see if there was absorption, but these pants held up without any saturation coming through. Great pants, great value! I loved these pants! Light weight, water resistant with great zipper pockets and size 10/M was just the right length;(at 5â2â I usually have to shorten or roll them). Only 30″ inseam for all sizes, beware the horizontal knee seam; otherwise nice pants I am 5’7″, 123 lbs, and usually wear a size 6 in most pants. These fit perfectly except the length. Too short by a good 2 inches. I tried them on with a pair of hiking boots and they looked ok…definitely did not work with tennis shoes or flip flops. I got the pants for hiking, so one other detail of importance: there is a horizontal seam that fell right above my knees…if I pulled the pants down low on my hips to try to make them fit better length-wise, then the seam would rub…
