Nice shovel. It seems sturdy and like it would … Nice shovel. It seems sturdy and like it would take some abuse.Once the shovel is locked into place with the retention nut, it can wobble the slightest amount, but it never feels like the shovel will fold.I keep this in my trunk, and use it camping for various stuff. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.This shovel is exactly the same as the Chafon shovel.
The ferro rod makes a good spark and works well monster work horse for a shovel. I have used mine for moving dirt around the house, moving mounts of rocks and wood chips out of the flower beds and also have it folded up in my truck for a go shovel / survival shovel. It is very strong and one tool that is not as big as i thought it would be. the weight is low enough that i can keep it in my go bag but also open it up and use it for digging fire pits and poo holes. the keep the head cleaned and oiled with knife oil and it has not failed me…
