Filling breakfast substitute I have these in my basement tornado emergency kit, and wasn’t planning on eating them unless it was an emergency. I ran out of breakfast items one day – so I broke out one of these energy bars instead. I tried the blueberry flavor. It does not have any fake aftertaste, and the texture is like a shortbread cookie, although a little grainy, but not off putting. Best Bars I’ve had! These bars are all very tasty and filling. I have tried all flavors and have not found one that I do not like. In my opinion they are outstanding; after all what’s the good of having an Emergency type food bar if you can’t stand it? I rate these bars a full 5 stars because of taste, quality and assortment. food bar review Purchased the bars as backup food, tried the orange flavored bar. These are easier to carry then the blocks of emergency food. To give you an idea they are about the size of the king size candy bar. About 6 inches long x 4 inches wide 1/2 thick again approximately. Others have posted exact size. There was really no orange flavor,it is a thick, heavy tasting food bar. I am glad I was at home eating this bar and had coffee to wash it down. It tastes OK and would do for what it is made for,…
