Such a cool tool I needed this for one particular job and it worked like a charm, cut through wood like a hot knife through butter. Chances are it will be awhile before I need to use it again but when I do it will be great to have.
but it was heavy use and maybe it was just a bad apple? Anyway This is one of the most versatile tools I own. Over the last two years this thing as been in my hand as much as my drill, impact driver, or angle grinder (and all of these I use a TON). This is my second one, the first one bit the dust after about a year, but it was heavy use and maybe it was just a bad apple? Anyway, there a higher capacity battery packs now available for this tool so you can get even more time out of a charge, the standard 12V battery will go about 20 minutes on 3/4…
I liked it so much I bought another one I install tile and hardwood flooring for a living so I cut a lot of trim and door jambs (among many other things) for my jobs. I bought this exact same model about 4 years ago and it lasted me until about 2 weeks ago with almost everyday use. I liked it so much I bought another one. Good solid tool.
