★ For maximum thermal efficiency, preheat or prechill the food jar just prior to use. Fill with hot/cold tap water, attach lid, let stand 5 to 10 minutes and empty water. After filling the container with contents, replace lid and tighten.
★ Never use a microwave, conventional oven, or other heat source directly on this product.
★ Do not overfill. Leave some space for lid and stopper to avoid overflow. 80% fill is recommended.
★ Contents should not be left in jar for longer than 24 hours.
★ Hand wash only.

No leaks and keeps good hot I finally found something that will keep my teenagers lunch warm! This is big enough where I can make him Ramen (the only thing you eat) and it’ll keep it warm even though his lunch time is at 1 PM, and I make his lunch at 8:30. I have purchased so many containers and every single one of them has either leaked or not kept his food hot. The only thing I would change about this container is that I would not tapered the spout, or the opening at the top as it makes it a little bit more difficult…
Hot Works pretty well. For those 1 star reviews I can only guess that those people have no idea how to use a thermos. You need to pour boiling water into it, cover and let it sit for 10 minutes or so. Then put your hot food in. I put boiling water in, five hours later it was 165F, which is a win in my book.Only negative is the cap isn’t all that well insulated, a better design needed as heat rises and that is the escape point.EDIT – only hand washed this but as others have…
Great thermos, bad paint Really love this!! Seriously, even with the 4 star rate.The thermos is large enough for a teenager for lunch. It keeps everything very warm! She had used it at least 20 times so far and it is great. The blue color is amazingly beautiful. Only issue is the paint is now coming off the bottom. We only hand wash, and then it is hand dried. So the fact that it is already chipping is sad.
