BUY THIS KNIFE I had heard good things….but dollar for dollar this is simply the best tool purchase I’ve ever made.Sharp out of the box, and I mean really sharp….the entire bevel was polished….and its ground to the perfect bevel for carving, 23 degrees is my guess. The profile is so versatile you can waste wood very quickly with a power stroke, or do a lot of very detailed work towards the tip. I no longer bother sanding when I work bowls or spoons…this knife allows me to smooth any…

Unbelievable knife Absolutely the best little carving knife you could have in your tool box. Razor sharp blade, needs nothing more than a good strop between uses. The birch handle is super easy to customize for a personal fit in the hand. I would pay three times as much for this knife, but hope I never have to.Would be nice to get a sheath, but super easy to make a friction one for the blade out of some cardboard from a cereal box and a little masking tape. Birch bark would work great if I could find some…

Custom handle shape on the Eric Frost MORA105 Outstanding quality for the price. You won’t find a better edge for carving and whittling. The edge is fragile however, subject to nicks, so it needs to be kept in a protective pouch. A tiny plastic sheath comes with the knife, but you want something better, in leather. The best part of this knife is that it comes in a huge hardwood handle, perfect for sizing down to fit your hands and eliminate blister spots.
