Really nice & VERY SHARP knife… I was very impressed by this knife straight out of the package. It arrived RAZOR SHARP and has stayed sharp through some tinkering on some scrap wood. Haven’t used it to carve any masterpieces yet, but it will certainly make it easier to make the components of a fire bow if needed & will be nice when I start carving spoons & bowls.

The knife has met all of my expectations I build model airplanes and carve balsa and bass wood and this knife has made difficult jobs easy. It is easy to control and one can remove just the amount of material that one wishes without digging into the wood; I would recommend it to anyone with a similar requirement.

Great knife for carving wood. Quality made. This is an excellent knife for wood carving. For the price, I don’t see how you could do any better. I just got done carving a project for several hours and it performed wonderfully. The edge stayed very sharp throughout, with no need to strop.
