Would not buy again………Junk. After 2 months………2 of the units will receive but transmit. 2 of the units batteries failed in 3 weeks…………Very bad product.
very happy with this purchase, great for skiing on western mountains great radios, my family uses these at ski races so that we can communicate to plan the start/finishes of races and go about getting the kids fed etc.. this is especially useful since most of our mountains here in Montana still don’t have cell phone coverage…and nor do our kids have cellphones. These go really far line-of-site even using the free and unregulated family band frequency like we do, however you can’t talk to someone who might be on the other side of the mountain, this goes to say…
