Great race radio Just finished a weekend using these radios for race communications. Loud and clear most time, even with terrain between the pits and the course. So easy to use, batteries lasted all day long with regular calls back and forth.Radio is mounted on center of dash within full cage and transmits/receives just fine. Solid radio with good range These are great radios and will last a number of years of hard daily use. We use them in a commercial greenhouse and still get good life out of them. Expect to replace the battery pack after a couple of years. They get dropped a lot and still continue to work. The belt clip is pretty wimpy – it will break.

We purchased these radios to work in farm machinery along … We purchased these radios to work in farm machinery along with the Two-Wire Surveillance Mic for Motorola CP200 Empire. The radios have worked well and we’ve had no difficulty transmitting from inside the cab of one tractor over rough terrain to another operator inside the cab of another tractor 1/2 a mile a way.
