The T260 is available in a twin-pack or a triple-pack. How far can I expect my radios to communicate? The communication range quoted is calculated based on an unobstructed line of sight test under optimum conditions. Actual range will vary depending on terrain and conditions, and is often less than the maximum possible. Your actual range will be limited by several factors including, but not limited to: terrain, weather conditions, electromagnetic interference and obstructions.

expected retail packaging. arrived as OEM packaging. Gave as gift. Will report with better update. Appears that instructions were not included.Edit: friends were very happy with this trio. Bought them intended for a father & son, plus spare, but turned out to be an all-family (of 3) affair. They reported back excellent range, and the 6 year old son loves it. Somehow they use it for family communication (large yard, neighborhood friends’ homes, etc), but they tested the range well up the road far beyond their son’s allowable range.

Good distance and nice sound batteries leave something to be desired! These are great for keeping in touch with the kids when they are playing in the neighborhood or at a friends house close by. The only complaint I have is I ordered the first set and one of them would not hold a charge ordered a second set and replaced them and the second set is the same one wont hold a charge. It comes with a Y splitter for one of the chargers and I think if you plug one in to the splitter it does not charge. But this I am not sure of without marking the one I plug into the…

Not a good radio Received these radios and they were charged all night. The batteries last about 2-3 hours with no talking, less than 1 hour from charging if talk on it. One of the radios the area that the button that you key the mike it has come apart. The talk distance is less than 1/4 mile on very flat ground. We were really excited to get these as have had trouble with other radios, but these are the worst yet. Would not buy these!!!!
