Our Trekker FX adjustable hiking pole does double duty as a lightweight trekking staff and camera mono-pod for perfect set-ups in the backcountry… or the backyard. The EVA top handle unscrews, revealing a universal ¼”-20 SAE male bolt for fitment with most Point and Shoot, Hi-Zoom, and lightweight DSLR cameras. Due to the sensitive nature of camera equipment, we recommend our mono-pod function at a max carrying capacity of 3lbs. Please use discretion when in the field. This rugged single hiking staff comes equipped with comfortable EVA handle, anti-shock system, removable hiking basket, wrist strap, replaceable rubber boot tip, and carbide tip for exceptional traction on rock, trail and scree

Product Features

  • Removable handle cap reveals 1/4 – 20 SAE bolt for camera
  • Camera carry weight – 3 lbs. (1.4kg)
  • Two telescoping sections with twist-lock Double Cam adjustment
  • Spring loaded anti-shock system with twist lock-out feature
  • Removable hiking basket with locking pin

Great hiking pole and monopod combo! Worked perfectly on a long hike in Danali National Park, Alaska. Works well as a hiking pole, and doubles as a monopod for cameras. Monopod worked great in soft ground – just pushed it in, mounted the camera, and was able to easily take photos of our small hiking group to include everyone.

Works well. A great walking pole and monopod. I used it on a recent trip to hawaii and it worked great. I may try to find an adapter to make it work as a selfie stick too. My only criticism is that the adjustment locking system is a bit tough to work. I prefer the lever style, this poe has the twist lock ones.

Need a trekking pole that doubles as a monopod? You’re not going to do better in this price range. Sturdy, easy to adjust, and the only pole with a threaded camera mount I could find anywhere near this price point. I highly recommend buying a cheap adjustable swivel adapter for the camera mount, which makes this so much more useful.
