Was great for our backpacking trip! In preparation of my LDW backpacking trip, I did a lot of research on tents and found that they could be pretty expensive. Given that it was my first backpacking trip, I didn’t want to spend too much in case I hated it and never ended up going again. This tent was a good compromise, and it was perfect! Easy to set up, pretty light to carry, and having the two doors is a luxury I’ll miss when using my other tent!
Almost Perfect This is a fantastic tent. But it has one design flaw. The main hinges are plastic and cannot handle the lateral weight through repeated use. We figure this is a Chinese imitation of another tent, so does anyone know the original tent (which hopefully uses metal hinges)? We would buy it at a higher price again if we can find a version with metal hinges. We love it and it is awesome for motorcycle riding, as we can open and close it in 10 seconds or less. With metal hinges I would give it 5 stars.
Best hiking tent I have ever owned! This tent is awesome! We slept two of us in this tent on our hiking trip and we fit perfect! I like to read and leave reviews that actually help me decide on purchasing something so I will leave some stuff below to help you decide….-The tent is the perfect size for two full size people side by side.-The tent is just long enough if you are 5’11” like me for your head to touch the one end of the tent and your feet to basically have like 2-3 inches left for space…
