Their highly functional shapes are made from hot and cold-safe polypropylene and color-coding matches with our mugs and utensils to help everyone keep track of their own set. MSR Pot Compatibility: Small nests inside 2.5 L pots (Quick™ 2 & Base 2), Medium nests inside 3.2 L pots (Flex™ 3), Large nests inside 5.3 L (Flex™ 4) pots, and the Bowl nests inside the Trail Lite Duo Cook System, and outside the Reactor 1.7 L pot. Love this dish I bought this for a backpacking trip and didn’t want to bring disposable plates. I also didn’t want one of the tiny plates that come with most camping cook sets. It is plenty big enough, yet still small enough to pack with my mess kit.
Great item for Backpacking. I purchased the MSR Large Deep Dish, as well as the Small Deep dish by MSR. The small will nest in the large and both will nest in one of the lightweight folding handle 9″ fry pans you can also find on Amazon. Place them inside the pan, fold the handle over the top and they are retained in the fry pan and store easily in your back pack. They are made from polypro composite that is food safe. Light, Durable, and Versatile I purchased MSR’s Deep Dish Plate for bike camping trips, but it turns out that it’s pretty darned useful in the kitchen as well.Mine has been squashed into bedrolls and panniers, slopped full of various camping concoctions, blown off of picnic tables, “washed” with hand sanitizer in desperate moments, and otherwise abused — and it’s held up just fine.
