DeepDish Plates and Bowls are designed to nest with most MSR cook systems and pot sets, and make a great addition to any outdoor kitchen. Their highly functional shapes are made from hot and cold-safe polypropylene and color-coding matches with our mugs and utensils to help everyone keep track of their own set. MSR Pot Compatibility: Small nests inside 2.5 L pots (Quick™ 2 & Base 2), Medium nests inside 3.2 L pots (Flex™ 3), Large nests inside 5.3 L (Flex™ 4) pots, and the Bowl nests inside the Trail Lite Duo Cook System, and outside the Reactor 1.7 L pot. Light, Durable, and Versatile I purchased MSR’s Deep Dish Plate for bike camping trips, but it turns out that it’s pretty darned useful in the kitchen as well.
Why don’t they stack?? First let me say these plates/bowls are of excellent quality and I love the fact that I can use them as both a plate and a bowl. I ordered 4 of them to take camping and they really are great. They are durable, clean easily and most importantly are multi-purpose.
Great Design I am an old bachelor, and really don’t care in the least what my china looks like or what other people think of it. I’m also a bit of a geek, and enjoy trying new things and finding better solutions to my problems. So I bought one of these to try as a dinner-plate replacement for use at home, not on the road. So far I really like it a lot. Stacking the food deeper keeps it warm longer, and the raised edges make for at least a slightly less slovenly eating experience. This has become my favorite…
