great all around This knife is not just for show. It has a comfortable handle, a forward weighted blade, and a finger choil for finer tasks. It is a supreme chopper, aided by a near perfect handle shape with a protrusion on the bottom to keep your hand from sliding off. For 20 dollars it’s a steal. The only letdown is the sheath, which is ballistic nylon and as basic as it gets, with only a belt loop. The knife itself is great.

Simplicity equals quality Definition of full tang. This knife is only 3 pieces of metal plus fasteners. Blade piece is the full 14″ long. Two pieces at the handle end sandwich the center blade piece. You can see the blade piece going through the handle, 0.5cm (~0.2″) thick. I don’t see this knife breaking. Simple. Came sharp. Sheath pretty standard, fits the knife. Sheath has a strong enough snap to keep it but locked in but you can unsheathe quickly with one hand. Sheath has a belt loop. Very happy with this…

Wow. One helluva knife… Two or three years ago, I would have told you MTech was junk, but since I follow knife reviews on Youtube, I’m finding that they are now producing many fine knives, as well as many of the bad and laughable ones I used to base my opinion on, such as their many zombie killer and “fantasy” models.
