Mix and match globes & lanterns This is an OEM fit for my propane lantern. While I took the globe off, I compared the diameter and height between the old and new and they matched exactly. However the model numbers are very different. Coleman has multiple model numbers for globes which makes selection very confusing. But I made the right selection.
arrived on time in perfect condition, and fit my Coleman Dual Fuel model … The product is exactly as pictured, arrived on time in perfect condition, and fit my Coleman Dual Fuel model 285a lantern perfectly. The ONLY problem is that the description is of a different item. The description and product name say that this is a “Mustad 0549-0012 Classic Dough Bait Treble Hook (Pack Of 2), Bronze, Size 4 Fishing Hook”.Needless to say, this is NOT a fish hook. It is glass globe for a Coleman gas lantern.
Glass Globe Have an older propane lantern and this globe was a little smaller than the globe I had on but seems to work just as good if not better. Older globe fit tighter but maybe to tight. This globe seems to work better and since not as tight might not break as quick since not so much pressure on the glass globe between the metal parts that hold the globe in place..
