Threads: Nalgene bottles and caps feature continuous, straight shouldered semi-buttress threads for increased contact area on the surface. This allows for greater tightening force without stripping threads. Cap: Durable caps are designed and built to perfectly mate with their respective containers. There’s no separate liner to wear, crease, fall out, or leak, and the seal ring is molded directly into each cap. FDA Compliant, BPA-free Materials: Nalgene bottles are molded from 100% virgin resin with nothing but FDA compliant colors added. Finished products are tested according to the requirements of the USFDA for food and beverage contact. Heavy-duty Walls: Uniformly durable walls are thicker and more resistant to failure than many similar looking, but lower quality bottles. Nice Everyday Water Bottle I love the large volume, which is a bigger than the standard Nalgene bottle. The skinny design fits nicely into my work bag, and I prefer it to the more squat, smaller, standard version. Trying to stay properly hydrated throughout the day can be a challenge, so finding a bottle that worked for me was a small, but important, step in that effort. I’m been pleased so far. I guess they call it a Men’s water bottle because it has a big mouth 😉 I have the 48oz one, use it with my brita water pitcher, and it keeps the water tasting nice and crisp, even if is been sitting in the fridge for a day. You pretty much have to angle it funny to put it in the dishwasher, I’d suggest handwashing it. Also, if you’re going to use it for water, only use it for water, I put some Mio in my water, and after I finished it took 2 washes to get the faint taste of the lemonade Mio out of the water bottle.
