Necessary Emergency tool Four stars because i have not tested this product but it looks well built and i really like that it comes with a case for storage. I plan to keep it in the car for emergencies. I hope to update this review whenever i can test it out.
It’s great all the way up to when you use it like a shovel I’m not sure if the people who review this shovel actually used it or just love it because it fits so easily in their car. I bought it with the intent to bring it camping and use it to put out fires, dig holes for wash water, stuff like that. Well when you set the shovel out and lock it, mine never wants to stay in the locked position. It will for a short amount of time, maybe the whole time if the dirt is really really soft. But as soon as you hit a rock, bam! The shovel collapses. At this…
it does a great job. The build quality of the canvas bag … I primarily use the shovel for digging fire pits at the beach. Since I’m only using it on sand, I can’t say how it’ll fare for digging dirt holes. For what I need it for, it does a great job. The build quality of the canvas bag that it comes in is questionable though. The belt loop already came off after a few uses. However, that doesn’t affect the quality of the shovel at all.I would recommend this product for light use.
