Nice product overall! The craft of the leather case and the engraving on the compass are very nice. The compass itself does not work; maybe it is pointing towards the next adventure but definitely not towards the North… The pirates’ code on the inside of the lid was not glued to the lid but that was an easy fix with a drop of superglue. Overall a nice product and an appreciated gift!
Wish it worked! So this compass is definitely cool looking. It will eventually settle on north so that’s good. The problem is it takes forever. The middle part where the arm is attached is very, very loose. I don’t see how you could walk and use this compass. But if you have time you can set it down, wait, wait some more, and eventually be on your way. Other than that is is a fun compass and for the Pirate fans you will love it!
