Great light with easy set-up but smells fishy. Good quality, easy set-up, and it’s fairly priced. When you first open the box you have to let the fabric air out for a couple days, preferably outside, because it smells a little like fish. I’m guessing it’s from the materials used to make it. Other than that, I think it’s useful for specific locations or table top set-ups.

Doesn’t fit securely – at least not on Aputure lights -without modification The Bowen’s mount, as another reviewer has stated, doesn’t sit properly into the receiver slots in my Aputure 120d. It’s therefore useless.***Update***I took a file and filed off the curved top of the “nubs” (for lack of a better term) of the speeding until they were flat. It now fits snugly into the Aputure light.

Nice Lighting, Not True Bowens I love the modified light this tool gives me but I had such a troubling time putting the bowns mount onto my Aputure 120t bowens mount. I have other bowens mount modifiers that works very well with my Aputure 120t, but Neewer’s doesn’t provide the confidence that it slides right into the locking mechanism that the Aputure 120t has. I wouldn’t recommend this unless you don’t care about having the confidence that this thing will stay on your mount.
