If you have a VERY wide foot these boots would probably be a good fit you I ordered the boot size according to the advice on the reviews. However, these boots are very wide, especially in the ankle. The way they are styled makes it difficult to tie the boots snugly at the ankle area, therefore I couldn’t “seat” my ankle firmly and my foot slid around. I tried adding an extra insole, but the ankle was still too loose. The strings are too short for hiking boots, and the tongue is so thick that you can’t snug down the laces at the top. Great for walking in wet conditions These shoes were recommended by a friend so I looked on Amazon and was excited to find one pair left in my widthâ2EEâ, a width that is a challenge to find online.
