Simply secure the stake into the ground, set an empty wine bottle down into the swirl design holder, fill with liquid paraffin, add the wick (included), and light it up. It took no more than five minutes and that included opening the box! The stake securely holds most standard size wine bottles. Nice, but could be improved. Very nice set up to make your own Tiki torches. There are a few problems or issues you should be aware of; When you place bottle in holder, there is a very good chance your bottle will be a lot smaller than the holder. Therefore, your bottle will sit crooked or in a leaning position. There needs to be a small “base” of some sort in the holder to keep the bottle upright. Other note is that the metal will rust. I recommend putting it together and rubbing vasoline on the holder to…

Just get it There are very few choices out there that will hold a wine bottle like this. Found one on Etsy, another on Ebay, both “out of stock” and both very expensive to ship since they are a single piece. The shipping of those items was 3 times the cost, $45 v. $15 for the stand. I needed 5, but just ordered one to try it. It’s a threaded rod, so it breaks down to very manageable pieces, and screws back together into a very solid stand.
