Easy to Use, Great for Price Strong and sturdy, these straps will not hurt a tree unless you wrap them around a branch that cannot support the weight of the hammock + person. These are really great if you’re a recreational hammock-er since you will have to adjust the height and length of the straps every time you find a new place to hammock. If you are looking for straps that do not require the extra minute or 2 to adjust, look for straps that have loops sewn on at various intervals. Overall, great for the price and nice…
Promising design, flawed product I’m usually an avid review reader, but I bought this hammock before it had received any reviews because it looked both sturdy and comfortable. On the 2nd day of use (which was, ironically, just after the return window had closed) one of the cross bars split near the joining point. I had suspected this could be a potential weak point in the design but had decided to take the risk anyway since the product description seemed impressive. It’s pretty strong and I got it to do what it … It’s pretty strong and I got it to do what it was needed for, but it is not adjustable at all really….you just adjust by wrapping it around the tree more times….I have a pretty fat tree, and it only wrapped around once; it just couldn’t make it a second time but left way tooo long section with the only once wrapped around. I fixed it mainly but studying the stitching and making a new loop where I needed it using my sewing machine. I was a bit concerned that my thread may not be strong…
