An excellent quality mess kit at a fantastic price. Made of lightweight steel with a compact clamshell design. Contains 6 3/4″ fry pan with folding wire handle, 6 1/2″ dish, 1 pt. pot with lid that nests inside and an 8 oz plastic drinking/measuring cup. Nested size is 3″ x 7″ diameter. Wt: 15 oz.

The way this kit packs up is great and it includes everything you need The way this kit packs up is great and it includes everything you need. My main issue is that it doesn’t distribute heat at all across the base of the pans. Therefore it burns any food in the middle of the pan, while the food on the outside doesn’t cook. It must be constantly stirred on low heat.Granted this may be my camp stove focussing the heat, but the stove looks like most other camp stoves and the mess kit could still have the design to disburse heat better.
Great replacement for old Boy Scout mess kit Great Stainless steel replacement for the old Boy Scout aluminum mess kit. The Okicamp is slightly smaller but for one person it is fine. My ONLY complaint is that I would have preferred to have a stainless steel cup in the kit instead of the plastic one.
great basic mess kit better than alum vers of the same. if you need to be minimal, this is nice durable setup with no worries that if you need put it on embers for heat, it will melt like alum kit. will take much abuse and rough conditions. had it out for several weeks of bare bones cooking in fires and jet boil and happy with it.
