I like the vest but it states that it fits to … I like the vest but it states that it fits to 90 lbs. My son is 5’3″ and 83 lbs in the evening, fully dressed and this was extremely tight on him. He even had difficulty just getting it on. It’s short too, just to the bottom of the rib cage so not everyone might want that but it’s a great-looking, sturdy vest. We have to return and ordered a similar O’Neill vest in Adult Small.
A great jacket Material feels a little cheaper than I would have hoped, but my son says it’s comfortable and he is quite long waisted so finding a good jacket was tricky. We have had a great experience with this product and would definitely recommend it to other parents.
Should also say it fits up to 27 inches of chest size I actually liked this item but its just too small for my kids. Its summer so I just want to share that this didn’t fit my kids, who are both well below the 90lbs limit in the size chart.I get why weight is important in the description because this is a floatation device but I think chest size is important in sizing as well. My youngest has 28-inch cheast and the top-most strap could barely lock while it is already adjusted for maximum length. I think this life jacket could fit up…
