Nothing but heartache! I really hate writing this review because the machine is awesome. It’s small, fits nicely on the counter, quiet, and makes perfect ice. Until it doesn’t. After only six weeks of use, it stopped making ice. We contacted Opal customer service via email and waited a week for a reply. After several emails back and forth to diagnose the problem, we were told the machine needed to be defrosted and given steps to follow. We ran through the defrost and cleaning cycle 8-10 times.
