Nice,bright and light….light! Great improvement over other designs..diffused light is much more pleasant. Arrangement of leds and use of mirrored reflector is much more efficient . Cudos to these engineers! My only issue is the lighter weight plastic used to make these. I have a feeling that if dropped it would break. This idea in a more heavy duty casing would be worth twice the price. Overall this is an excellent choice for an emergency kit!
It has a diffuser which makes it a lot less of a stark bright light while still doing a pretty good job of illumination It works. It does have a little different design than others. It is plastic which makes it lightweight, but it fell only about 2 1/2 feet from my pickup onto the cement floor and cracked the bottom.Still works but now has duct tape helping to keep the batteries secure.
Compact, yet provides great lighting! Bright and compact! I bought these as Hurricane Irma is approaching us. I wish I had bought more! LOVE the small size, yet the bright light they provide. I like that you can slide them open for more light, and close for less. The handle is very nice too. They are compact and light, perfect for children too. I put one in each of my two kids’ rooms for when we lose power. My husband complained that he wants one since he saw them, but it’s too late. I will come back on here after the storm…
