Very poor for $15 My latch doesn’t have enough spring to keep it shut after just a few short months of light use as a keyring.Very low quality for $15, should be like a $5 novelty trinket.

Pretty cool, but… Edited:The company contacted me and sent a replacement pretty quickly. So far, so good! We’ll see if this knife holds up.I bought this for my husband. The fire starter part is pretty cool, but unfortunately, the utility knife part just fell off and we can’t find it anywhere. That seems pretty useless if it’d just fall out like that. I can’t imagine trying to use it on something if it isn’t properly attached in the first place.

More “neat” than “useful” My wife got this for me as a gift for Christmas. I do like it – it’s an attractive piece of gear with some cool factor. It weighs 1.1oz which isn’t huge but ounces add up and if you’re going ultralight a soft shackle is probably more useful. If you aren’t going ultralight, why not carry an actual (ideally locking) carabiner? This one has a strong steel wire gate, but it just rests against a U-shaped depression – there’s no “ledge” to prevent it from stretching under load.In terms of…
