Great value for an overall well made hat I needed a hat that allowed me to have protection from the elements when walking. This particular model is comprised of 86% nylon and 14% polyester. It has an adjustable chinstrap. I acquired the extra large since it is easier to size down with the elastic strap. The underside has a darker pieces of cloth is anti-reflective. I find the hat to be very comfortable and gives me all around protection against the sun for my face and neck. This has limited water resistance but is not waterproof…

Nice and Light but no Vents` I bought the OR Helios Sun hat to use during my long walks with my dog.PROS: This sun hat is nice and light. Underneath the brim, it has dark-colored material to reduce/eliminate reflection of light that stresses the eyes.CONS: For my preference, the drawstring to prevent the hat from blowing off the head is too long.The “TransAction” headband did not absorb all of the sweat which dripped into my eyes.
