You can filled the travel mug with the brim with ice and water, the water and ice remained cold and just seemed to grow colder for a full 24 hours. I did periodically drink from it and the water was icy. This tumbler would be great for a long road trip or on hot summer days by the pool.

Must have for the office I don’t usually write reviews, but I have to for this mug. The best purchase I’ve made in a long time. I keep it at the office to drink water out of, but for those who want to use it in their vehicles – it fits nicely in cupholders. I drink tons of water and this thing is perfect for it. Great design.
