we like the size These are very handy in helping me and my 8 year old grandson keep in contact. We recently moved here and know very few people, so it is comforting to keep in contact with him. However, I must say, it isdifficult for him to find an attachment from which to hang the device making for easier accessibility when he is on his scooter or bicycle. But, over all, we like the size, the color, the range.
Good for the price! These walkie talkies have a pretty good range. We use it for communicating with the kids when they are out and about in the neighborhood. So they have to check in when they get somewhere, etc. The only downside is that we have only had them a couple months and the talk feature gets stuck on record so sometimes it will record everything that they are saying even when they are not holding down the talk button. But other than that, they are great for the price.
Surprisingly sturdy and loud I bought these for my nephew so he could take them hunting with his dad and they could keep in touch. He played with them for hours after opening them on Christmas – including dropping them multiple times and accidentally launching one down the stairs – and they’re surprisingly sturdy for the price. I expected some low-quality cheap plastic that would break in a week. The flashlight and LCD screens are bright, the transmission quality is surprisingly good, and they’re VERY loud.
