Lots of sparks & burn. Exceeded expectations. Sparks on 2nd strike because the first was removal of protective paint. Wow! Lots of sparks & burn. Exceeded expectations. Wasn’t sure for the price that it would work as well as it did. Reviewed many others at higher prices and took a chance on this ferro rod. Larger 1/2″ thickness is easy to hold onto. throws a decent amount of sparks The drilled hole in this 5″ ferrocerium rod from Bayite makes it very convenient to add a lanyard w/striker.
I am getting more for my friends! I did not think it was going to work…MAN WAS I WRONG!This was so cool and easy to use.My advice would if anyone gets this to use sawblade from your knife. Run it against it fast…POOOF, You have fire!
