Bear in mind, it takes up a lot of room in the freezer. Otherwise, excellent. Looks pretty good; not like a lunchbox on your back at all.It keeps food cool, as well as your back.Generous front pouch for utensils and napkins.Huge space for a family feast!There is one downside and it’s bad enough to cost 1-star.Because it relies on its freezable liner, it’s not well-insulated.Meaning, if you don’t freeze the bag, you can’t drop an ice-pack in there and keep your food cold.You may be thinking, why wouldn’t you freeze it…
Picnic in a pack This is a cooler bag built into a backpack. The backpack measures 16âx13âx9â when unfolded. Folded up for the freezer, it measures 7.5âx13.5âx3.5â. Empty, the bag weighs about 2 lbs. Some limitations but a fantastic product for those who surpass them. This is one of those products that isn’t for everyone due to it’s limitations. First and foremost you must have either a stand alone freezer with free space available, or you could put it in a fridge freezer if you didn’t have a lot of other food stored there. Tip: Fold it when freezing and it seems to require less room. Since it is soft it can be smooshed up a bit and will take up about as much room as a very large pork butt in the freezer.
