If you’re buying it for shoelaces… This product works perfectly, I got 10 feet of it and it should be enough to do at least three pairs of shoes. Good quality material.Seal the ends with a lighter, lace it normally, and add a cord lock and it’s set. Far cheaper than other elastic options. The result is easier on/off and far more even pressure across the laces. My shoes feel confidently glued to my feet.
Enabled me to re-connect my tent poles There were YouTube instructions on how to use the shock cord to restore my tent poles. The 1/8′ thickness was larger than the original shock cord and I had no problems using the thicker cord. Time will tell how long it will last, but now that I know to replace the shock cord, I’m confident I can enjoy my tent for several more years.
Works well I use this to make “no tie shoelaces” and cable ties. The quality is good enough for those purposes and I would buy this cord again.
