Poor spool and paracord not in one piece. This is my second attempt at getting paracord. The first paracord that I got was a disaster. The end of the spool came off and was a huge tangled mess. The replacement spool that I got was not 1 piece. On the spool was as aprox 300′ piece and a 700′ piece. The project that I was working on needed one piece that was 1000′ long. I would have returned the replacement spool if I had not needed it right then. I had to make due. I am very disappointed. Buyer Beware.
Does not match the color I ordered. I ordered 100 ft of neon-yellow and what I received is just plain ol’ yellow…the packaging however, does say “Neon Yellow” on it. Neon yellow should have a “highlighter” effect to it…this yellow is bright, but that’s due to the nylon material that this is made out of. I looked at the available colors and there happens to be a neon lemon, which looks just like the neon yellow that I ordered.
Something is a little off here… I ordered both the Coyote Brown and this Black at the same time. The Coyote Brown shell is larger, smoother, and much more durable. The shell in this black chord allows the core strands to poke out when braided. I combined this Black chord with the Coyote Brown and you can really tell the quality difference when they are together. I would not order this black cord again.
