Decent Workbench For the project I was working on (reducing the width of a bookshelf) it worked decently well.
Not bad for the price At first glance, this workbench seemed to be a bit cheap, and it is to a certain extent. The hardware pack was open inside the box and was missing a few washers. From reading the other reviews, I decided not to use the hardware it came with anyway and didn’t. The bench went together very easily and is fairly sturdy for what I am using it for. For the price, it is very good quality and with care, it will last for quite a while. I would caution others not to tighten the handles too far, they are…
Wilmar Workbench One big issue in reviews of the Wilmar folding work bench was stripping of the heads of Phillips screws used to attach the work surfaces to the frame. I discovered that the pilot holes were only about 2-3mm deep and once the screws reached the end of the hole, it took a lot of force to keep inserting them. I carefully drilled the pilot holes to the full length of the screws and got them in with no problem and no stripping of the screw heads. I really did not use the assembly instructions, but…
